St. Joe's Girls Volleyball Locker Room
Saint Joseph ’s College Head Volleyball Coach Jill Schopieray announced that the volleyball locker room will be dedicated to former player, Kathy Garrigan.
The Puma Volleyball Family honored Kathy’s life in 2007 with a pregame ceremony. The ceremony included the Garrigan family, players and coaches who had played with Kathy, the current Puma volleyball team and also numerous members of the SJC community. At the ceremony, the Garrigans were presented with Kathy’s framed Puma volleyball jersey.
The locker room is a memorial to honor Kathy’s life, and a constant reminder to all who visit of the closeness of the Puma volleyball family. Locker room renovations include new wooden lockers, furniture, carpeting and painting. The dedication ceremonies took place on October 24, 2008 and April 17, 2010.
