St. Joe's Girls Volleyball Locker Room
Saint Joseph ’s College Head Volleyball Coach Jill Schopieray has announced that the volleyball locker room will be dedicated to former player, Kathy Garrigan.
The Puma Volleyball Family honored Kathy’s life last year with a pregame ceremony. The ceremony included the Garrigan family, players and coaches who had played with Kathy, the current Puma volleyball team and also numerous members of the SJC community. At the ceremony, the Garrigans were presented with Kathy’s framed Puma volleyball jersey.
The locker room will be a memorial to honor Kathy’s life, and a constant reminder to all who visit of the closeness of the Puma volleyball family. Locker room renovations include new wooden lockers, carpeting and painting. The dedication ceremony will take place October 24, 2008, prior to the SJC match versus
Northern
Kentucky
University. Contributions in any amount are welcome to fund the overall renovation efforts of the Kathy Garrigan Volleyball Locker Room, helping to serve as a reminder of Kathy’s impact on so many lives.
